About

I’m a visual artist based in Alberta, Canada. My work begins with things I notice in the natural world: ripples in water, patterns in sand and stone, shifting light, and the marks left by touch and time.

I have been drawing since childhood. That early love of art led me to study architecture, where I learned to think carefully about composition, colour, form, and materials. Those years still shape the way I work today.

After several years working as an architect, I moved to Canada and returned to painting after a break of almost seven years. I started by exploring gel printing, and that curiosity gradually led me toward other experimental processes, including cyanotype.

Now I work by building and removing layers, following both the image I have in mind and the surprises that happen along the way. I hope the finished pieces give people a reason to pause, look closely, and notice something familiar in the textures of the natural world.
